    Announcements for this weekend:


    Welcome, everyone!  May you sense the presence of God in our midst today. Feel free to stand or sit during the singing. 

    Our worship today is in-person and on Zoom!

    We have Sunday school for children up to grade 6.

    COVID 19 – Restrictions are once again in place for worship. Masks are now mandatory for the duration of the worship service. Please social distance and use hand sanitizer. Please also sanitize your hands before helping yourself to a drink in the coffee time after worship. Thanks!

    Small Groups If you want to be in a small group please call Linda. Most groups are open to new people coming.

    • Tuesday, Wallis Care Group, 6:30 p.m. Group is full.
    • Wednesday 1:00 Linda's Care Group meeting on Zoom (studying the stories of Jacob and Joseph in Genesis)
    • Thursday: 1:00 Baker's Care Group meeting at McLeods
    • Thursday: 7:00 Karen's Care Group meeting at the Church. Studying the book Jesus Centered.
    • Thursday, Killough’s Care Group, 7:30. Studying 1 Peter, meeting on Zoom.

    Alpha - An Alpha group is being considered. Tentative start date is February 27. Please speak to Shelley if you have people to invite. 

    Climbing through the Valley of Grief - A transformative 5-week journey through the valley of grief to the other side, acknowledging the loss, embracing the pain of it, redefining relationships, developing a new self-identity, searching for meaning, and receiving ongoing support from others. This 5 session group/seminar is being offered at our church beginning on Feb. 14 at 7 PM (5 Mondays), by Facilitator Tara Caffelle. We will open it to the neighbourhood, so feel free to let friends know. Cost is $75 (for all sessions). Minimum 10 people.

    First Nations Reconciliation - Join Tearfund online on a series of five conversations around issues impacting the global church. Sign up for one or more.

    -  A Jesus Centered Response to Global Hunger (Feb. 23)

    -  The Impact of Disasters on the Poor (Mar. 30)

    - Learning from our Neighbors in the Global South (Apr. 27)

    - God's call for Creation Care (May 25)

    Sisters ‘n Stitching- Sisters will be held on Fridays 10 AM till noon on Zoom. Edith will send out a link by email, we have a few ladies signed up now but welcome more ladies. A time of fellowship, encouragement and perhaps a few projects. Drop in or come for the two hours. Please contact Edith 250-318-9876 to add your name to our Zoom list.

    Studies in the Gospel of John - Part 2 of "Studies in the Gospel of John" by Dr. Shelley Utz is available in the foyer.

    Pray for those who are grieving

    • Joanne Thompson passed into the Lord’s presence on Monday, January 3. Please pray for Matt and for the Thompson, Spence and Halcrow families and extended family.
    • Pray for Edith and family. Edith’s son Andrew passed away in November.

    Pray for our refugee family in Turkey.

    Office – We are pleased to welcome Victoria Bamgbopa as our new Administrative Assistant. Office hours at present will be Monday 9-1, Tuesday 9-12, Wednesday 9-2.
