Saturday and Sunday, September 13 and 14, we will be celebrating our Church's 80th Anniversary. The weekend starts Saturday afternoon with an old fashioned picnic that serves as this year's Fall Fair Homecoming, and continues on Sunday, at 10:30 AM, with a Celebration Service. Lunch to follow.
You are cordially invited to both of these events and we encourage you to pass along this invitation to families and friends who may be interested.
From our early beginnings at Ebenezer Mission, to our Church at 629 Battle Street, to Brocklehurst, where we now worship, a lot has happened! Kamloops Free Methodist Church has a rich heritage and we look forward to sharing significant historical highlights with everyone. We especially want to thank God for His guidance and faithfulness throughout the decades and we continue to trust Him as we walk into the future!
Our Planning Committee would appreciate your help with the following:
We invite you to write a short paragraph on what the Kamloops Free Methodist Church has meant to you. You can submit your paragraph through the website (CONTACT FORM, left column), by email (firstname.lastname@example.org), or typed/written on a sheet of paper.
If you have photos, stories, memorabilia or memories of the history of our Church please contact the Church office at (250) 376 8332.
We are looking for the book, 'The Battle was the Lord's; A History of the Free Methodist Church in Canada' by John Sigsworth, printed in 1960. If you have or know of a copy, please contact the Church office.
THANK YOU! Be sure to mark this weekend on your calendars. We look forward to seeing you!
