It is hard to believe it is the middle of October already! Doesn’t it seem time flies by faster and faster? I was proof-reading an informative blog a few weeks ago but pressed a wrong button and it was gone, lost. Here’s another try.
We are well into fall activities here at FMCC. There are five Bible Studies up and running as well as Men’s Shop Nite and Prayer Breakfast, Student Café and Youth and Sister ‘n Stitching.
New Horizons, our seniors’ group, will be meeting this Monday at 10:30 AM. Al and Vera will share their photos and experiences on their trip to Germany, specifically in the area where Martin Luther lived and worked. Lunch to follow.
We had a great weekend with David and Ann. They spoke Sunday morning after a most successful Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser for a school in Belot, Haiti on Saturday evening.
Thanks to Sherry who made over 400 of the cutest little stuffies for the Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes! There are still some left if you missed out this past Sunday.
During the month of October our Church is collecting non-perishable food items for distribution by the Salvation Army to those in need. Thank you for caring. Please place your donations in the designated area in the narthex.
Note: our annual Christmas Event has been schedule for Friday, December 9. Also, Church Office Hours have been changed as of this week to Tuesday—Friday, 11:30—3:30 PM.
That's it for now : )
