I cannot thank Chris Burgoyne enough! He has helped, actually, has done all the work, to 'migrate' our website to this fresh new look! I tried and tried then finally asked if he could possibly help. I appreciate his expertise, work and patience over the months all the way from Calgary. Technology.

    A few announcements ...

Family and friends will gather here at the Church Saturday, February 28th at 2:00 PM to celebrate the life of Garfield Hines. "As he slept, Garfield Roy Hines died at home on the morning of `February 8, 2016. It was the completion of eighty three years of life. He exited the stage in continuity with how he lived: understated, reflectively and with the least amount of drama. Bonnie accompanied Garf for fifty five years." He is an amazing man who now lives in heaven! He will be missed by many, many people - we extend our condolences and prayers to the Hines family.

As well, it is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lorne Coxson, November 30. (I apologize for not keeping our blog current.) Lorne had a larger than life personality and was known for being thoughtful and kind, so very generous and passionate about the Lord and for those who don't know the Lord yet. We still miss him so very much, but personally (he is my uncle), I'm glad he could go from ice-fishing to heaven and I will see him again soon.

'Coldest Night of the Year' - FM Team Hope (Linda, Marianne, Rita, Gerald C., Nancy, Marvyn, Gerald D., Hugh, Myrna, Ian, Lacey and myself, Debbie) raised $1,472.00 for New Life Community Kamloops. It was a worthwhile, fun fundraising time! Our team ranked 6th in 35 local teams. Way to go, FM Team Hope!!

Family Times - last Friday we gathered for a simple supper and a casual, fun time of games. Some played crocinole, some Dutch Blitz. Others tried their hand at ping pong and air hockey while some just relaxed and visited while working on a jigsaw puzzle or funky colouring sheets. Thanks to the staff for organizing the evening and to Dee who set everything up and prepared the food!
