    'Go Forward' by Pastor Vern

    January 5, 2018

    Prov 3: 5-6, 19-26

The beginning of a new year brings moments of reflection and anticipation. When we remind ourselves of the work and faithfulness of the Lord in our lives we quickly come to the exercise of praise. We also experience moments of question as we look ahead and wonder what will happen.

This is a time of transition and we need to be reminded to stay strong in the Lord.

    • Listen to the counsel of godly companions

4 God gives us direction – vrs 6

    • His way is the best path for us
    • His will brings about our preferred life plan
    • He supplies the resources needed  our adventure
    • He is engaged and active with us if we want

    • Faith – ‘Trust God with all your heart’
    • Focus – ‘Lean not to your own understanding’
    • Fall down – ‘In all your ways acknowledge him’
    • Go Forward – ‘He will direct your paths’
